Woodmark Group establishes new subsidiary in Tunisia.

New nearshoring capacities enable greater scalability, faster delivery, and increased competitiveness for clients

Woodmark Group is embarking on its international growth journey with the founding of Woodmark Consulting Tunesia sarl in Tunis. The new company launches with nearly ten employees, laying the foundation for the further expansion of the group's international delivery and nearshoring capacities.

With this new location, Woodmark is specifically strengthening its ability to implement client projects more flexibly, scalably, and efficiently in the future. Clients will benefit from expanded capacities, faster implementation times, and even greater delivery capability, particularly in the fields of Data & AI, Cloud, software development, and digital transformation.

“By establishing our new office in Tunisia, we are creating the basis to support our clients in a more agile and capable manner. The combination of highly qualified talent, close integration with our teams in Germany, and attractive nearshoring models sustainably improves our competitiveness – and above all, that of our clients.”

The decision in favour of Tunisia was deliberate: the country boasts a growing technology and IT sector, a high availability of qualified professionals, and a strong international orientation. The new company will work closely with Woodmark Consulting GmbH in Germany and be fully integrated into existing project and delivery structures. Abdelfattah Rezgui, who has been with Woodmark for more than ten years will serve as Managing Director of Woodmark Consulting Tunesia sarl in Tunis, taking responsibility for operational business.

This expansion is also another important building block in the joint growth strategy of Woodmark and investor VMP. The aim of the partnership is to build a leading Data & AI champion. The international expansion of delivery structures creates additional scaling opportunities and strengthens Woodmark’s long-term position in an increasingly competitive market environment.

With its new location in Tunis, Woodmark underscores its ambition to equip clients for the future not only technologically, but also organisationally and strategically.
